ONE GOAL, ONE TEAM

The federation is actively campaigning for the establishment of a national ice sports centre in the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) boasting two (Olympic sized 60m x 30m) ice surfaces.

A new facility would benefit Canberra’s talented young athletes, the local community, as well as Australian ice sports. When the new centre is operational, ACTISF has plans to advance multiple activities, from attracting speed skating and disabled ice sports to the national capital, to developing school programs, as well as hosting major national events such as Grand Prix figure skating, invitational broomball, or even world championship ice hockey.

Consideration is also being given to facilitating curling, speed skating, sledge hockey and even blind hockey.
